'Sao Mu'

This morning, I woke up 6 something to go sao mu with my family. It's a shame to tell, but... it's actually the first time I went.

So first we went to clean great-grandfather's grave. Then, we went to grandfather's... it's new and nice, because he only just passed away last year. Kind of sad actually.... (To Adeline: Don't worry we didn't see foot prints you guys left on it, haha.). Next, it was great-grandmother's grave. Because she died in 1930s, so the grave was very old already... and then, we went to great-great-grandmother's grave. We still go until these days because she was the one who looked after my grandfather after great-grandmother passed away when grandfather was only about 5...

I think this is one of the good traditions which should be preserved. People die, but they live in the beloveds' hearts as long as they're remembered.
